Part 2: The Love of Christ: Why He Still Chases You

The Love of Christ: Why He Still Chases You

8: The Love That Will Never Leave You Nor ForsakeYou (Even in Your Failure)

Ever felt like God had left you before?

Ever felt like you've really messed up a lot for God to still love you?

If yes, then this part 2 is written for you.

You need to know that Jesus does not love you because of what you do or have done.

John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus), that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

God loves you because He's an epitome of love. He loves you because He's love personified.

Jesus is not interested in your failures, He sees you beyond failure and that's why even if you fail, He's still chasing you.

Even when you fall, Jesus still reaches out to catch you when you fall. For the Bible says in Proverbs 24:16, that “For a righteous man may fall seven times, And rise again,

But the wicked shall fall by calamity.”

Even when you sin, Jesus will still cleanse you and pull you closer to Himself because He said, I will never leave you nor forsake you.

He never leaves you nor forsakes you.

He never abandons you, because He doesn't have an abandoned project. You're His project here on earth.

Ephesians 2:10 says, believers are God's "workmanship" intentionally recreated in Christ Jesus for a divine purpose.

And according to the Scripture in Psalm 94:14, it says:

“For the Lord will not cast off His people, nor will He forsake His inheritance.” Glory to God!

The Story of Peter: The Man Who Failed But Was Restored

Peter was one of the Apostles of Jesus and he loved Jesus so much. But before Jesus' crucifixion, Jesus told Peter that he would deny Him three times but Peter rejected

Jesus three times. As soon as that happened, he remembered the very words of Our Lord Jesus Christ and he was ashamed and he cried.

Peter failed Jesus just as we've failed Him too in our own ways both intentionally and unintentionally.

Peter denied Jesus.

He lied.

He ran away.

He thought he had lost his purpose.

But Jesus still loved him.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

— Romans 5:8 (KJV)

And this companion verse completes it:

“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes we were healed.”

— 1 Peter 2:24

Christ took our sins upon Himself, and through Him we are freed from the yoke of sin, death, and condemnation.

After the resurrection, Jesus asked Peter three times:

“Do you love me?”

And Peter replied, “Yes, Lord.”

Jesus then said:

“Feed my sheep.”

Even after Peter’s failure, Jesus restored him.

Why?

Because Jesus’ love is stronger than his failure.

A Story of Restoration

A young man was addicted to sin of the flesh for years.

He tried to quit many times but always failed.

He felt condemned.

He felt hopeless.

One day, he heard a sermon about Jesus’ love.

He cried.

He realized that Jesus still loved him and he gave his life to Christ, repented, confessed his faults.

He joined a support group and he began to pray daily.

Today, he is free, healed and he’s living a life of purity.

Though he still falls sometimes, but then, he always gets back on his feet because he knows Jesus is chasing him. The Love of Christ constraints him.

9: The Love That Makes You Brave (Courage to Walk in Faith)

Jesus’ love is not weak.

His love gives you courage.

When Jesus loves you, you become fearless.

Because you know you are not alone.

You know He is with you.

 Scripture:

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” — 2 Timothy 1:7

The Story of David and Goliath

David was a young shepherd boy.

Though he was very young yet was still brave. He had the love of God in his heart.

When he faced Goliath, he didn’t fear.

He said:

“ On this day God will deliver your head into my hand.

And God did according to David's word.

David won because he believed in God’s unfailing love.

And that is what Jesus’ love does to you.

It makes you brave.

It makes you bold.

It makes you unstoppable.

A Story of Courage

She was terrified.

But she refused to give up.

She said:

If He is with me, I will be okay.”

He is a living testimony.

Jesus set him free.

The love of Christ is not just for this world.

It is for eternity.

Jesus died so that you can live.

When God Is Silent: What To Do Next

Navigating Waiting Seasons With Faith and Obedience There are seasons in life when heaven feels quiet. You prayed — and nothing seemed to have shifted. You fasted — and you saw no clear directions. You waited — and the silence seemed to have stretched longer than you expected. If you’ve ever whispered, “God, are You still there?” — I want you to know that you are not alone. One of the most confusing and emotionally stretching experiences in the Christian journey is divine silence. Not rebellion. Not crisis. Not obvious disobedience. Just silence. And the silence can feel heavy. But here’s the truth that many believers eventually discover: God’s silence is not God’s absence. Sometimes, it is preparation. Sometimes, it is protection. Sometimes, it is an invitation into deeper trust. The question is not whether silence will come. The question is: What do you do next when it does?
