A Prayer of Salvation and Surrender

A man kneeling in prayer with his hands clasped and head bowed, surrounded by a warm, glowing golden light with a radiant cross in the background, symbolizing surrender, salvation, and the presence of God.

If you feel a stirring in your heart right now, this is not an accident.

It is the love of Christ calling you home.

Wherever you are, pause for a moment. Take a deep breath.

And if you are ready, pray this prayer sincerely—from your heart:

Lord Jesus Christ,

I come to You just as I am.

I am tired of running, tired of hiding, and tired of carrying this weight alone.

I acknowledge that I am a sinner in need of Your mercy.

I confess my sins before You—every known and unknown sin, every rebellion, every disobedience, every place where I chose my own way instead of Yours.

Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of God.

I believe You died on the cross for my sins,

that You shed Your blood for my forgiveness,

and that You rose again on the third day, victorious over sin, death, and hell.

Today, I repent.

I turn away from my old life, my sinful ways, and the paths that lead to destruction.

I turn toward You, Lord Jesus.

Come into my heart.

Be my Lord, my Savior, and my King.

Wash me clean with Your blood.

Heal my brokenness.

Restore my soul.

I surrender my life to You completely—

my past, my present, and my future.

From this day forward, I choose You.

Fill me with Your Holy Spirit.

Give me a new heart, new desires, and the power to live a life that pleases You.

Thank You for loving me when I was unlovable.

Thank You for saving me.

Thank You for never giving up on me.

I am Yours, Lord Jesus.

In Jesus’ mighty name I pray,

Amen.
