(You’ve Come To God’s Throne Room Already)
📖 TO THE BIBLE
John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.””
◀️ LET’S TALK
The Lord Jesus never minced words. He didn’t say, “No one visits the Father, except through Me”; rather, He said, “…No one comes to the Father except through Me.” Do you realise the reason some Christians pray wrongly is that, in their minds, they’re visiting the Father every time they pray? They say things like, “Father, we come into your presence…” or “We come to you again today in the Name of Jesus….” But we don’t “come” to God in prayer; we pray in Him and in His presence.
When you received Christ into your heart and were born again, you were born into the presence of God. That’s when you “came” to the Father, and you don’t need to keep “coming” into His presence every time you pray, because you already “came” once – through Jesus Christ. Now that you’re born again, you’ve been baptised into His Body, and you’re at His right hand, living and dwelling in your heavenly Father’s presence (1 Corinthians 12:13, Colossians 3:1).
This is the reality: you’re in Him, and He’s in you; therefore, you don’t need to “come” to Him or “go away” from Him! No need to shout or scream, as though He’s far from you because He’s not. Just talk to Him like you would your closest friend. You live in His presence and carry that presence with you everywhere you go. Being conscious of how close you are to Him will cause you to function from a position of advantage every day.

Dear Father, I thank you for the joy of salvation and the privilege of living in your presence, seated with Christ, in the place of authority and dominion, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
