“You only begin to live when your life counts for other people. You never have fulfilment until you’re living for others—living beyond yourself.”
—Rev. Dr Chris Oyakhilome

Pastor Chris sings:
“I want to spend my life mending broken people. Let my words heal the heart that hurts. I’m gonna live my life healing broken people.”

That’s when you really live, when your life counts for saving lives.
(Rev Dr Chris Oyakhilome)

SERMON COMMENCES…🗣️

Genesis 6:9 KJV
These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

Genesis 17:1 KJV
And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

2020 is the Year of Perfection!

Perfection is a word that terrifies a lot of people.

Perfection is what God desires in man. Perfection is at different levels in your life. If you never believe in it or desire it, you’ll never have it.

Perfection is possible, demanded, and requisite in you.

To be perfect, in Hebrew: Tamiym; this means to be flawless.

God said, “walk before me and be thou perfect.” Who decides if your perfect? God!

…yet we produce perfect devices, perfect machines. How could those things come out of us if we aren’t perfect?

In 2020, I’ll believe in perfection, practise it, and live in it.

Job 1:1,8 KJV
There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. [8] And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

Matthew 5:48 KJVS
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Perfect, the Greek is Teleios, and in Hebrew Tamiym.

Ecclesiastes 3:14 KJV
I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.

[PASTOR CHRIS TELLS TWO STORIES]

Truth and fact are two different things. Truth is Reality. The world lives the facts of life. But facts are lesser to Truth.

The Truth of God’s perfection in your life is a hidden reality. The moment you realise it, you will be amazed at the possibilities.

1. Alignment.
A preparation, a re-engineering of how you operate. A re-alignment of your will to God’s Will. A re-alignment of your activities/routine.

2. Completeness.
A fullness. To be made full, to be replete. Desire God’s Word in 2020 until you’re replete with God’s Word.

3. Excellence.
A completeness. To bring you into that consummate position. I have an excellent mind. Negative thoughts don’t come through my mind. My mind is full of love and peace, and grace, and joy. Excellence is not a struggle. People say it is a strive, and no wonder they never attain it.

In 2020, I’m gonna live it.

Ephesians 5:1 KJV
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

4. Greek: Telesphoreo.
Luke 8:14 KJVS
And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.

The word ‘perfection’ there is telesphoreo, means ‘to bring to fruition.’
This is used to describe when a woman bears a child, then she carries it the full nine months; to perfection (telesphoreo). No abortions. No miscarriages.
You carry your ideas to perfection, your projects to fruition.
This year, declare, none of your ideas will be aborted. None of the ideas God gave you will have a miscarriage. Hallelujah!
